The Section 8 Waiting List is the only opportunity for very low-income families, seniors, disabled persons, and individuals to obtain a Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher.
The Orange County Housing Authority (OCHA) will open its Waiting List to accept pre-applications for housing assistance from February 15, 2012 until February 29, 2012.
On February 15, interested persons may apply directly online at www.ochousing.org. Applications can also be picked up and faxed or mailed. For more information about eligibility, printed applications, where to get them, and where to send them please visit www.ochousing.org. Information at this website also available in Spanish and Vietnamese.
